Iran Delays Khamenei Funeral, Successor Soon to Be Announced

Because of the ongoing attacks by the United States and Israel, Iran has postponed the funeral of its late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khamenei, his wife, and their son perished in the initial assault. US and Israeli forces have attacked Iran in retaliation for Iran's missile and drone attacks on Israel and the Gulf states. Mojtaba, Khamenei's son, may be named as his successor by the Assembly of Experts. Numerous people, including civilians, have died as a result of this conflict, and infrastructure has been destroyed.
